Your first Wigan game?

I grew up in Shrewsbury, Shropshire so my first memories were the Challenge Cup games in the late 80’s. I fell in love with the game and ended up following Wigan. My first visit to Central Park was against Sheffield in 1994. Looking back now it gives me immense pleasure to think I’ve seen probably one of the greatest teams to grace the game play live

What is your most memorable moment being a Wigan fan?

There’s been a few over the years but nothing comes close to the pure emotion of the playoff comeback win at Bradford. I’ve never hugged so many random people in my life. That is one feeling I’ll never forget

Who is your favourite all-time Wigan player?

Inga! I’ve never witnessed a crowd rise as one in anticipation as they did for Tuigamala whenever he got the ball. There was an expectation that he was going to do someone brilliant and still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up thinking about it

Who is your favourite Wigan player?

From the current squad Dom Manfredi. We’ve had some world class wingers but he has something different. He always appears to break the first tackle and hopefully he’ll comeback as good as he was before his injury

Name one player that you would love to see play for Wigan – past or present

Someone like Darren Lockyer would’ve been good to see in the Cherry and White

What is your favourite away ground and why?

Always liked to Huddersfield for some reason, no idea why just always liked going there

Which opposition player do you fear the most when they play Wigan?

Don’t honestly fear anyone. Most teams seem to raise their game when they play Wigan so mostly fear Wigan not turning up or turning up without intensity rather than worry about the opponents

Your top 8 prediction for this year?

Not in any particular order – Wigan, Castleford, Hull, Wire, Saints, Catalans, Leeds, Leigh

If you could change one thing about Rugby League, what would it be?

More terrestrial TV coverage to bring our great game to the masses

Who do you think will win the Steve Prescott Man of Steel Award this year?

George Williams
